The Listers Lexus Challenge Ride

Thrusters are challenged to take on the Maisemore jumps for the Midlands Ambulance Charity and Ledbury Hunt at Gloucester Races and Country Fair

The Ledbury Hunt is hosting its second Challenge Ride on Saturday 7th April at their reinvigorated Point-to-Point meeting ‘Gloucester Races and Country Fair’ at Maisemore Park.

The aim of the new challenge ride, sponsored by Listers Lexus in Cheltenham, is to raise money for the Midland Air Ambulance and the Ledbury Hunt, along with giving riders (both young and old!) the opportunity to ride a circuit and a half over the jumps at the infamous Maisemore Park racecourse.

The Listers Lexus Challenge Ride will be run at an optimum time - a good Ledbury hunting pace set by the Ledbury Joint Masters - and will feature 9 jumps over 1.3 miles.

To qualify for the challenge, riders must not have a current jockey's licence; horses must not have raced under any rules after 31st December 2015. There is no minimum weight.

Entry fee deposit is minimum £150 per person, this will be split equally between the Midland Air Ambulance and Ledbury Hunt. Full entry conditions are available here
